Narrative Lead

Having the opportunity to serve as Guild Wars 3’s Narrative Lead in the title’s formative years was one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects I’ve ever undertaken. It was in these earliest days that the identity of the game began to take shape: Vaelwardens, their loyal Seekers, and the untamed wilds of Orr all came together to help contextualize an experience unlike anything in the MMO space.

From Guild Wars 3’s concept phase up through the summer of 2025, I worked closely with team directors and discipline leads to drive the narrative vision of the game, establishing key characters, concepts, factions, and lore guardrails to help drive creativity while also adhering to the well-established and much-loved lore of the Guild Wars series.
